Practice Manager – Accountancy Firm

About the role

We are seeking a Practice Manager to lead our growing accountancy practice in Weybridge. Reporting to the Director, you will act as the primary advisor for a diverse client portfolio and help shape the firm’s future through technology and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality advisory and service.
• Lead and coordinate accounting and tax teams to meet deadlines.
• Review and finalise year‑end financial statements and tax returns.
• Prepare and review management accounts and self‑assessment tax returns.
• Conduct client meetings, provide strategic advice and build lasting relationships.
• Oversee business reporting, monthly billing and financial administration.
• Champion the adoption of new software and automation to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in practice.
• Confident communicator comfortable using phone, Zoom and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Passion for delivering excellent client experiences and practical commercial advice.
• Tech‑savvy mindset with enthusiasm for process improvement and automation.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
