About the role
We are seeking a motivated Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our reputable primary schools in Birmingham. This role offers newly qualified teachers the chance to build confidence, gain valuable classroom experience, and start a meaningful teaching career in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Maintain classroom rules and routines to ensure a safe learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and teaching assistants to support student progress.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and training as required.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of children.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS check (with update service).
- Enthusiasm for working with young learners and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Knowledge of primary education standards and assessment frameworks.
