About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Year 3 curriculum from September 2026 on a one‑year fixed‑term basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the core subjects for Year 3 pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with senior staff and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and safeguarding duties.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending completion of a PGCE.
- Passion for primary education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
