Primary PPA Cover Teacher – Blackpool

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary PPA Cover Teacher to join a welcoming, inclusive mainstream primary school in Blackpool. The role starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 while supporting teachers during their planning, preparation and assessment time.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to cover teachers' PPA time.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with high SEN and behavioural challenges.
• Collaborate with class teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Uphold the school’s behaviour expectations and values.

Required profile

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching in a primary setting or a strong desire to gain experience across multiple year groups.
• Confident classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Flexibility, proactivity and the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality education to all learners.
