Primary PPA Cover Teacher – Full‑time Temporary (Term‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic Primary Teacher to provide PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover across a highly regarded primary school in South Shore, Blackpool. The role starts in September 2026 and runs on a term‑time only basis, offering a full‑time schedule of Monday to Friday, 08:30‑15:30.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned, engaging lessons across multiple primary year groups.
• Maintain a consistent, positive learning environment in each classroom you cover.
• Implement the school’s behaviour policy and promote core values.
• Mark work and provide constructive feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and any incidents.
• Collaborate with teaching and pastoral teams to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow pre‑planned material sent the evening before.
• Enthusiasm for working across different year groups and supporting pupil achievement.
