Primary School Administrator (SIMS) – Full‑time Temporary

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a full‑time Administrator for a thriving Ofsted "Good" primary school in West London. The role supports the senior leadership team, manages day‑to‑day administrative tasks and ensures smooth operation of the school’s SIMS (School Information Management System) during term time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update pupil records, attendance and assessment data in SIMS.
• Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, including diary management and correspondence.
• Assist with safeguarding documentation and ensure compliance with current policies.
• Prepare reports, letters and communications for staff, parents and external agencies.
• Support the organisation of staff training and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of administrator experience in a UK school setting.
• Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SIMS (School Information Management System).
