Primary School PPA Teacher – Barking & Dagenham

About the role

We are seeking an experienced primary school teacher to cover PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) across all year groups in a thriving 2‑form entry primary school in Barking & Dagenham. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a long‑term, paid‑to‑scale contract with the possibility of part‑time hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons for classes ranging from Nursery to Year 6.
• Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and support pupils’ wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the teaching team and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Minimum of 1 year of primary teaching experience.
• Ability to teach across the full primary phase (Nursery to Year 6).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Enthusiastic, passionate about teaching and learning.
