About the role
We are seeking a qualified primary school teacher to work as a PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) teacher at a 3‑form entry primary school in Havering, London. The role starts in September or October 2026 and runs for the full academic year on a long‑term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across Nursery to Year 6.
- Mark student work and provide feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and support pupils’ learning.
- Collaborate with the teaching team and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Minimum of 1 year of UK primary teaching experience.
- Ability to teach across all primary phases (Nursery to Year 6).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
- Enthusiastic, passionate about teaching and learning.
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Lesson delivery of pre‑planned curriculum.
- Assessment and marking.
