Primary School Teacher – Waldorf School, Greenwich

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a unique Waldorf‑inspired primary school in Greenwich to recruit a passionate Primary School Teacher. The role starts in September 2026 and runs for the full academic year, offering a creative, child‑centred environment where academic learning is blended with artistic and outdoor experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the primary curriculum across all subjects.
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, imagination and personal growth.
• Organise and attend parents' evenings, staff meetings and school events.
• Integrate storytelling, music, movement and practical activities into daily lessons.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on ongoing professional development and training.

Required profile

• Qualified to teach primary education in the UK (qualified teacher status or equivalent).
• Enthusiasm for Waldorf or holistic educational approaches.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work term‑time hours (8:30 am‑4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday).
