About the role
We are looking for an inspiring Primary SEN Teacher to join our inclusive school in Hackney. You will work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, delivering high‑quality, differentiated lessons that help every child reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for primary‑age pupils with SEN.
- Assess progress and develop individual learning strategies.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and families to provide holistic support.
- Work with external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil development and interventions.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication, adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
