About the role

We are partnering with a well‑resourced primary school in Hackney that values inclusion and seeks a passionate Primary SEN Teacher to start in September 2026. You will join a supportive team dedicated to helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• Create and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions.
• Collaborate closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to optimise outcomes.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches as required.
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and differentiated learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, resilient, and proactive attitude.
