Primary Supply Teacher – Birmingham (Flexible)

About the role
Hays Education is looking for enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to support schools across Birmingham and the surrounding area. This flexible, temporary position allows you to work in a variety of settings, covering Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through Key Stages 1 and 2.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons following each school’s lesson plans.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils.
- Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions between classes.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching across primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
- Flexibility to work in different schools and year groups.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Lesson planning and delivery.
- Adaptation of teaching resources.
