Primary Supply Teacher – Day‑to‑Day Bookings

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking Primary Supply Teachers to cover classes in Reception through Year 6 across schools in Clacton‑on‑Sea and surrounding areas. The role starts in September 2026 and operates on a day‑to‑day booking basis, with the possibility of longer‑term cover.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons and adapt teaching resources to meet the needs of each class.
- Maintain strong behaviour management and create a positive learning environment.
- Follow each school’s policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and curriculum delivery.
- Provide accurate attendance and progress records as required by the host school.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Two professional child‑related references.
Required skills
- Strong classroom behaviour management.
- Passion for teaching and supporting primary‑age learners.
