Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Work in Eastbourne

About the role
Academics is seeking qualified Primary Supply Teachers to provide flexible, short‑term cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms in Eastbourne. You will work on an ad‑hoc basis, stepping in for a single day or multiple weeks depending on your availability.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons and maintain curriculum continuity for early years and primary classes.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching resources quickly to suit the needs of each school or nursery.
- Complete required administrative tasks such as attendance records and daily reports.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
- Previous experience teaching in UK primary schools or nurseries.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Effective lesson planning and delivery.
- Ability to follow existing curricula and assessment frameworks.
