Primary Supply Teacher – High Wycombe

About the role

Academics is seeking qualified primary teachers to provide daily and short‑term cover for schools in High Wycombe and surrounding villages. You will work on a flexible basis, filling gaps ranging from a single day to longer term assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and maintain curriculum continuity in primary classrooms.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school policies and teaching resources.
• Provide accurate daily reports and feedback to school staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for primary education.
• Experience working in primary schools.
• Strong passion for teaching and ability to engage young learners.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to commute to High Wycombe and nearby areas.
