About the role
Veritas Education is seeking qualified primary supply teachers to work across a range of schools in Lancaster and Morecambe from September 2026. This flexible, short‑term role allows you to gain experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms while enjoying a better work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curricula.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit the specific needs of each school.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote child welfare.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth lesson transitions.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with QTS.
- Early‑career teachers (ECTs) or experienced primary teachers.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
