Primary Teacher – Daily Supply Positions in Surrey

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for experienced Daily Supply Teachers to cover primary schools across Surrey on a day‑to‑day and short‑term basis. You will step into classrooms at short notice, follow existing lesson plans and provide calm, purposeful cover for pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality cover in primary schools on short notice
• Follow existing lesson plans and maintain classroom routines
• Settle pupils quickly and manage behaviour effectively
• Adapt to unfamiliar classroom environments across all year groups (Nursery to Year 6)

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching across primary year groups, EYFS through to KS2
• Adaptable, confident and calm in new classroom settings
• Strong communication skills with staff and school teams
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Current safeguarding and child‑protection knowledge
