Primary Teacher – Full‑time Classroom Role

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS mandatory) to join a thriving primary school in Caldecote for the 2026/27 academic year. This full‑time, long‑term position offers the chance to lead a classroom, inspire young learners and contribute to a collaborative school community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative tools and adapt support accordingly.
- Lead and work closely with Teaching Assistants, ensuring provision for SEND and EAL pupils.
- Maintain a calm, positive classroom atmosphere through clear routines and positive reinforcement.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student achievement and wellbeing.
- Participate in phase planning, staff meetings, professional development and whole‑school events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
- Proven experience teaching in a UK primary setting (early‑career or seasoned teachers welcome).
- Strong knowledge of primary literacy, phonics and numeracy frameworks.
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to set high behavioural expectations.
- Commitment to a full‑time Monday‑to‑Friday schedule starting September 2026.
