Primary Teacher – Full‑time placement in Biggleswade

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Biggleswade. This full‑time, long‑term placement starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to deliver child‑centred learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Use formative and summative assessments to track progress and provide targeted interventions.
- Lead an inclusive classroom, coordinating with Teaching Assistants and supporting SEND and EAL pupils.
- Maintain a positive, respectful learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student development.
- Participate in phase planning, staff meetings and whole‑school events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
- Proven experience teaching in a UK primary setting (generalists and early‑career teachers welcome).
- Strong knowledge of primary pedagogy, assessment methods and literacy/numeracy strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and ability to establish clear routines.
- Commitment to a full‑time, five‑day‑a‑week timetable from September 2026.
