Primary Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Position in Kidbrooke

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Primary Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Kidbrooke (SE3). The role is full‑time on a temporary contract running from September 2026 to July 2027, with the possibility of extension or permanent appointment based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes.
• Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate student progress.
• Maintain classroom environment and uphold school policies.
• Participate in staff training and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year teaching experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
