About the role
This full‑time Primary Teacher position supports Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in a specialist provision in Cambridgeshire. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically and personally.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to a range of complex needs.
- Support pupils’ academic progress alongside their social and emotional development.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff to share best practice.
- Contribute to a personalised curriculum that supports individual learning journeys.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional or complex needs, preferably SEMH experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility, resilience and a commitment to positive impact.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
