Primary Teacher – PPA Cover (Portsmouth)

About the role

Reeson Education is partnering with a Good‑rated primary school in Portsmouth to find a full‑time PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover teacher. The successful candidate will join the school for the full academic year, delivering lessons across all phases from Nursery to Year 6.

Key responsibilities

• Provide PPA cover across the whole primary phase, delivering curriculum‑aligned lessons.
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with school standards.
• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with senior staff and other teachers to ensure continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Minimum of 1 year of UK primary teaching experience.
• Ability to teach across Nursery to Year 6.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils and staff.
• Enthusiastic, supportive and a good team player.
