Primary Teacher – Semi‑rural Leeds School

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a successful semi‑rural school in Leeds (LS23). The school offers excellent resources, strong community support and a focus on high‑quality teaching across all primary ages.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and deep learning.
• Track pupil progress accurately and use data to support individual growth.
• Create a respectful, supportive classroom environment with high expectations.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist tutors to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and differentiation techniques.
• Current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) registered on the Update Service.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and classroom leadership abilities.
