Primary Teacher – Year 4 – Greenwich (Full‑time)

About the role

A well‑respected primary school in Greenwich is seeking a motivated Primary Teacher to join its Lower KS2 team from September 2026. You will be responsible for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging lessons within a broad, knowledge‑rich curriculum and strong pastoral support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching across the primary curriculum for Year 4.
• Challenge and support pupils to achieve excellent progress.
• Use assessment data to plan purposeful next steps.
• Foster independence, resilience and a love of learning.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Enthusiastic, reflective and committed to continuous improvement.
• Open to applications from both experienced teachers and early‑career teachers.

Required skills

• Effective use of assessment to inform planning.
• Ability to share planning and resources within a collaborative KS2 team.
