Primary Teacher – Year 5 (Full‑time, Greenwich)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a thriving, inclusive school in Greenwich from September 2026. You will lead a Year 5 class within a supportive Upper Key Stage 2 team, delivering a broad curriculum that fosters confident, independent learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development.
• Use assessment data effectively to accelerate pupil progress.
• Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues on shared planning and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management and curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to inspire pupils with creative, well‑planned lessons.
• Reflective, proactive and committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
