About the role
This apprenticeship offers a paid, full‑time position as a Primary Teaching Assistant in a welcoming school in Brent. You will support children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils one‑to‑one and in small groups
- Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy and targeted interventions
- Help manage classroom behaviour and engagement
- Support children’s emotional and social development
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and resource creation
Required profile
- Commitment to an 11‑month apprenticeship
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or higher (preferred)
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check (support provided)
- Motivation to work with children, no prior school experience required
