About the role

A fantastic opportunity for a talented Private Client Lawyer to join a thriving and award‑winning team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves managing a varied caseload and advising a diverse client base on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, estate administration and contested estates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload and advise clients on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, estate administration and contested estates.
• Develop and specialise your practice in areas of private client work that particularly interest you.
• Work closely with one of the region’s most respected private client practitioners.
• Clear and supported pathways to partnership or directorship are available for the right individual.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience managing an independent private client caseload.
• Strong client‑care skills, a proactive approach and ambition to develop a career within a supportive environment.
• Experience advising on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection and estate administration.
• Eagerness to build long‑term client relationships and contribute to department growth.
