Private Clients Loss Adjuster - London & South East

About the role

Sedgwick is recruiting Private Clients Loss Adjusters for its London Private Clients team covering London and the South East. The role suits professionals with proven field experience, especially those who have handled High Net Worth (HNW) claims. HNW clients live in luxury homes and own high-value contents and valuables, so claims are complex, nuanced and varied, requiring a sharp eye for detail, compassion and a strategic mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Manage intricate claims for private clients
• Liaise with discerning clients and maintain high standards of professionalism and discretion
• Communicate clearly with policyholders, insurers and contractors and negotiate fair settlements
• Work alongside an Adjusting Executive who collaborates with you on cases

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience handling complex and major losses in excess of £100,000 on a chargeable time basis, or a strong desire to progress to this level
• Dip CILA/ACILA status (or working towards it)
• Full UK driving licence, as travel by car is essential
• Excellent communication skills

Use of Apple software such as iPads or other tablets is helpful but not vital. Sedgwick provides all company-specific training.
