Procurement Manager

About the role

Matchtech, an engineering services business serving the aerospace and defence sector, is looking for a Procurement Manager to support large customer programmes. You will be involved from the bid stage through to contract award, delivery and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically manage commodity and services suppliers.
• Support and lead customer bids and programmes.
• Run tenders, negotiate and award contracts.
• Negotiate contractual changes and flow down customer terms into subcontract agreements.
• Ensure suppliers meet production and manufacturing schedules.
• Manage relationships with procurement colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Required profile

• Procurement or supply‑chain experience in aerospace, defence, manufacturing or engineering programmes.
• Experience supporting bid work.
• Comfort with bespoke contracts.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Customer‑ and supplier‑centric mindset.
