Procurement Specialist – Public Sector (Edinburgh/Glasgow)

About the role

The Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the delivery of its Procurement Reform Programme. Working across Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Central Belt, you will lead procurement projects, provide expert advice and help embed sustainable, value‑for‑money outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement projects in line with public sector regulations.
• Manage tendering, supplier evaluation, contract award and ongoing contract management.
• Provide procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to drive continuous improvement.
• Promote best practice, governance and sustainable procurement outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering medium to high‑value procurement projects in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation, governance and compliance.
• Skilled in tender management, supplier evaluation and contract management.
• Experience using e‑procurement systems.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, project management and organisational abilities.
• Ability to influence, manage competing priorities and deliver procurement improvements.
