Product Manager – Healthcare SaaS (12‑month contract)

About the role

Meritus Talent is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of healthcare‑related digital products for a leading public‑sector software organisation. The role is remote, 12‑month contract, and involves managing product lifecycles, stakeholder expectations and cross‑functional delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain product vision, strategy and roadmap for established digital health products.
• Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle, including legacy and mature product sets.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to prioritise and deliver product requirements.
• Engage stakeholders across the organisation to gather insight, validate requirements and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies and delivery trade‑offs.
• Use data and metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Support Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) and ensure clear documentation of product decisions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product management experience in a SaaS or software‑led organisation.
• Background in regulated, enterprise, healthcare or public‑sector environments.
• Proven ability to work with engineering teams and manage complex stakeholder groups.
• Experience managing product lifecycles for mature or legacy products.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.

Required skills

• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

What we offer

• Up to £650 per day rate (inside IR35).
