About the role

Join the bank’s Payments Services Platform as the Product Owner for the Swift Lab. You will lead a high‑performing delivery team responsible for the critical "front door" connectivity to the global SWIFT network, driving the modernisation roadmap through 2027‑2030.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Swift Lab’s change portfolio, including replacement of the GT Exchange (GTX) application with a next‑generation gateway.
  • Steer infrastructure uplift and application modernisation programmes to ensure a robust, scalable SWIFT connectivity stack.
  • Inspire and motivate the Lab team, fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
  • Shape commercialisation and value‑realisation strategies, defining service propositions, adoption plans and benefit cases.
  • Manage cross‑functional relationships with Operations, Fraud, CISO, Architecture, Programme Delivery and external partners.
  • Maintain focus on risk, security, resilience and regulatory compliance throughout delivery.
  • Use data and service insights to prioritise work and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

  • Senior delivery leadership experience, preferably in payments or financial services.
  • Proven product ownership of complex, mission‑critical technology platforms.
  • Strong collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
  • Ability to navigate regulatory deadlines and manage risk‑focused initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders.
