Production Manager – Manufacturing Planning

About the role

DDC Dolphin is seeking a highly structured, quality‑driven Production Manager to own production planning, schedule adherence and delivery performance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The role translates business demand into a robust production plan, ensuring alignment with sales, capacity and material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the production plan, aligning it with sales demand, capacity and material availability.
• Lead monthly and weekly production scheduling, working cross‑functionally to resolve constraints and risks.
• Maintain visibility of capacity versus demand and adjust plans up to three months ahead to protect delivery commitments.
• Drive schedule adherence, ensuring output meets agreed timelines with minimal disruption.
• Implement and maintain planning tools, trackers and governance for consistent execution.
• Conduct daily/weekly MRP runs for machine builds, subs and spares requirements.
• Take full accountability for on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) delivery performance.
• Create job cards for all cells, set targets and smooth flow from sub‑builds to final build, test and packing.
• Escalate and resolve blockers quickly, coordinating with Engineering, Purchasing and Operations.
• Establish a structured daily and weekly cadence for production reviews, KPI tracking and issue resolution.
