Production Operative – 12‑Week Temp to Perm (Shift)

About the role

Join a global manufacturing client in Dorking as a Production Operative. The role is offered initially on a 12‑week temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position, working alternating day and evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate semi‑automatic or automatic moulding machines.
• Perform foil‑printing of components using semi‑automatic equipment.
• Pack and label assemblies and other items.
• Carry out in‑process checks, record results and flag any deviations.
• Work in specialised environments such as clean rooms, low‑humidity or static‑free areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and perform other tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous manufacturing experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong work ethic, organisational ability and capacity to multi‑task in a fast‑paced setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and remain on feet for long periods.
• Reliability, integrity and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
• Effective communication, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable personal transportation for the commute.
