Production Operative – Manufacturing (Day/Night Shifts)

About the role

We are seeking reliable Production Operatives to join a large manufacturing facility in Dover. The role involves working on a rotating 4‑on/4‑off schedule, covering both day and night shifts, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Remove products from the end of the production line and stack them onto pallets.
• Count and record the number of sheets per pallet and perform quality checks.
• Log findings into the factory system.
• Learn to operate overhead cranes and a counter‑balance forklift for pallet movement.
• Use handheld tools and machinery to support production processes.

Required profile

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual, repetitive work.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and tolerate high temperatures.
• Disciplined work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport to reach the site.

Required skills

• Overhead crane operation (training provided).
• Forklift operation (training provided).
