Production Operative – Temp to Perm in Tewkesbury

About the role

Production Operative required in Tewkesbury, earning £13.11 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity after 12 weeks with a well‑established food manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery across production lines.
• Prepare products and materials for production.
• Pack finished products ready for dispatch.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Report faults or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain excellent hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Follow food safety, quality, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
• Support other departments when required.

Required profile

• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or food production experience (training provided).
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and commitment to high standards.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physically active work.
• Team player with effective communication.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts as required.
