Production Shift Supervisor – Night Shift (Permanent)

About the role

Thermoseal is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor for permanent night shifts (Monday‑Friday, 10 pm‑6 am). You will work closely with the Production Manager to maintain an efficient, safe and quality‑focused manufacturing environment, leading the team by example on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address any concerns promptly.
• Manage shift schedules, team assignments, training and development initiatives.
• Oversee extrusion production processes to meet output and quality targets while maintaining workflow.
• Monitor performance, implement improvements and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with other shift supervisors for smooth handovers and transitions.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and a clean, safe workplace.

Required profile

• Proficient in English with GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a production setting.
• Strong understanding of production operations, quality control and health & safety legislation.
• Computer literate with proficient use of Windows‑based applications.
• Self‑motivated, reliable with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communicator who leads by example and demonstrates a professional, friendly demeanor.
