Professional Driver – Waste Collection (St Albans)

About the role

Join Veolia’s growing fleet as a professional driver responsible for collecting commercial waste across St Albans and surrounding areas. You will work 48 hours per week on early‑morning shifts, contributing to essential environmental services and supporting local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to scheduled collection sites and safely empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Enter all collection data into the onboard system and submit daily paperwork.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections in line with the driver operator handbook.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and load‑weight legislation.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Current CPC Digi/Tachograph card.
• Desirable experience in waste management, skip or RORO operations.

• Salary £43,023 per annum plus weekly pay.
