Professional Line Call Handler (Weekdays)

About the role

The Professional Line Call Handler works weekdays answering calls from health‑care professionals and entering referral information into BrisDoc’s patient database. The role supports the clinical team by ensuring accurate, timely data for triage and contributes to patient safety across the Integrated Urgent Care service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from health‑care professionals on the professional line.
• Record referral details from sources such as ambulance services, pathology results and community teams into the patient database.
• Verify that all information is entered accurately and follows BrisDoc’s safety calling process.
• Provide a professional, informed response to callers and guide them through the referral process.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure referrals are ready for triage.
