Project Engineer/Manager – Composite Parts

About the role

As a Project Engineer/Manager focusing on composite parts, you will lead the planning and execution of new product introductions (NPI) and bring two new composite products into full production quickly. You will collaborate with the production and engineering managers while driving project delivery for our industrial manufacturing client.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end NPI projects, ensuring two new composite products reach full production on schedule.
• Develop and manage project budgets, procure parts, and report progress to the end customer.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project goals and commercial objectives.
• Monitor resources, adjust plans as needed, and mitigate risks to avoid delays.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and compliance records.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and sign off technical drawings and engineering amendments.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
• Local residence with access to a car (public transport not suitable).
