Project Manager

About the role

AWD online is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, high‑profile transformation initiatives across the UK. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while working closely with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and deliver complex projects, establishing clear governance structures.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions and aligning project aims with organisational priorities.
• Own and maintain project plans, including risks, issues, dependencies, resources and benefits.
• Control project budgets, forecast financials and ensure compliance with financial processes.
• Develop and secure approval for business cases through internal and external channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience planning and coordinating complex work in a project or change environment.
• Strong ability to work with senior leaders, programme directors and board members.
• Excellent organisational and decision‑making skills with a focus on delivering results.
