Project Manager – MEP for High‑Speed Rail Stations & Head House

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead MEP and fit‑out works for high‑speed rail stations and the associated Head House building in the Greater London area. The role is client‑facing, operating within Integrated Project Teams to protect the client’s interests throughout design, construction and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the NEC3 Project Manager on behalf of the client, overseeing programme, budget and quality.
• Monitor and hold contractors accountable for performance, schedule adherence and compliance with client standards.
• Review and accept programme schedules, identify critical paths and manage inter‑dependencies.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, escalating issues as required.
• Discharge CDM duties delegated by the client representative.
• Challenge contractor submissions and ensure alignment with technical and commercial requirements.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience managing large construction or fit‑out projects, preferably in rail or infrastructure environments.
• Deep understanding of NEC3 contracts and experience performing NEC3 Project Manager duties on site.
• Strong ability to represent the client with authority, negotiate with contractors and make decisive commercial and technical decisions.
• Excellent problem‑solving and risk‑management capabilities.
