Project Manager – Multi‑Utilities (South West England)

About the role

Our client, a leading utilities provider, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of multi‑utility connection projects across the South West, with a focus on 11kV electricity connections. You will manage projects from design through construction, supporting development into water and gas connections and higher‑voltage work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 20‑30 live multi‑utility projects valued at around £2 million.
• Coordinate with Senior Project Managers, Operations Managers, Design Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.
• Lead site supervisors, direct labour and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA, CDM Regulations and safe digging practices.
• Maintain project P&L, budgets, programme delivery and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Build relationships with residential/commercial developers, ICPs and key stakeholders.
• Produce accurate documentation and regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑utility projects, preferably 11kV electricity connections.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Strong organisational, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• 11kV electricity connection knowledge.
• Understanding of NRSWA standards.
• Familiarity with NERS, WIRS and GIRS accreditation.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and safe digging practices.
