Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Subsea Services

About the role

Make your mark as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within Boskalis Subsea Services in Aberdeen, leading complex subsea IRM, decommissioning and construction projects using advanced DSV and CSV fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the project control structure, managing budget, risks and opportunities to optimise profit.
• Plan and execute projects safely in line with BMS, contracts and resource availability.
• Lead, coach and appraise the project team, ensuring high performance.
• Manage client relationships and identify commercial opportunities.
• Analyse problems, devise creative solutions and translate high‑level plans into operational actions.
• Contribute to project management aspects during the tender phase.
• Develop, implement and maintain inter‑departmental policies, procedures and processes.
• Stakeholder management and preparation of progress and close‑out reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, project lead or senior/lead project engineer.
• Background in subsea IRM, decommissioning and construction projects; international experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or offshore engineering, or a degree in quantity surveying or project management.
• In‑depth knowledge of certified project‑management methodologies (Prince2, PMP, MSP, IPMA).
• Fluent written and spoken English and strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as project demands require.
