Project Manager – Telecommunications

About the role

Neos Networks is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key projects for a major utilities customer. Working across Reading, Havant or Glasgow on a hybrid schedule, you will ensure projects meet commercial and contractual requirements while supporting network expansion and optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of small‑to‑medium projects, maintaining scope, budget and timeline.
• Establish and run project governance processes, including kick‑offs, reviews and steering groups.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies with clear ownership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure delivery meets agreed standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting and compliance.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting and financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering telecommunications projects of small‑to‑medium scale.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated use of project management best practices and high‑standard delivery.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in multi‑disciplinary environments with vendors and partners.
• Knowledge of the utilities sector is highly desirable.
