Property Finance Solicitor – Real Estate Finance (4+ yrs PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Property Finance Solicitor to join a leading Legal 100 firm’s Real Estate Finance team in Reading. The role offers the chance to work on high‑value, complex property finance transactions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on acquisition, investment, development, refinancing and restructuring finance matters.
• Draft and negotiate finance and security documentation for secured lending, portfolio financing and other transactions.
• Manage transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Act for lenders, borrowers and investors across commercial property finance deals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years PQE within a recognised real estate finance or banking team.
• Strong technical knowledge of real estate finance and secured lending.
• Experience acting for lenders, borrowers or both on commercial property finance matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Organisational confidence to manage matters independently.
• Commercial mindset and enthusiasm for lasting client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, national team.
