Property Litigation Solicitor (3+ PQE) – Newcastle upon Tyne

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Property Litigation Solicitor with at least three years post‑qualification experience to join a well‑established, full‑service law firm in Newcastle City Centre. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will manage a diverse caseload for clients ranging from SMEs and developers to landowners and managing agents.

Key responsibilities

• Handle commercial and residential property disputes.
• Manage contractual real‑estate disputes, including lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
• Lead dilapidations, forfeiture and possession proceedings.
• Resolve service charge, rent arrears, breach of covenant, and boundary/easement matters.
• Advise on agricultural and rural land issues.
• Contribute to business development and the growth of the Dispute Resolution team.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in property litigation.
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload.
• Commercial mindset with strategic advisory skills.
• Strong client‑care orientation and relationship‑building capability.
• Interest in developing a personal client base and supporting team collaboration.
