Property Loss Adjuster – Domestic & Commercial

About the role

We are partnering with a market‑leading loss adjusting firm to hire a Property Loss Adjuster focused on both domestic and commercial claims. This role offers a structured, supportive environment where you will develop technical expertise while handling a varied portfolio of property losses ranging from £10,000 to £100,000.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of property claims from initial instruction through to settlement.
• Attend site visits with senior adjusters to assess damage, determine cause and scope of loss.
• Support investigations, gather evidence and validate claims.
• Review policy wordings and assist with coverage assessments.
• Prepare detailed reports and insurer documentation.
• Liaise with policyholders, contractors, brokers and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate specialists such as surveyors and engineers.
• Track claim progression and maintain accurate case records.
• Support negotiation and settlement discussions under supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in loss adjusting or property claims.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid field/office environment.
