Property Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of approximately 200 residential units in the Bournemouth area. You will join a long‑standing, privately owned property investment company with a strong growth plan and will be based in the office Monday to Friday, 9 am‑6 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Market vacant flats and ensure swift tenancy turnover.
• Liaise with tenants on maintenance issues, organise timely repairs and handle ad‑hoc tenancy matters.
• Ensure rent is paid on time and pursue arrears where necessary.
• Serve notices and, if required, attend court proceedings.
• Coordinate with utility companies and manage deposit returns, disputes and deductions.
• Arrange and oversee maintenance works, including full refurbishments.
• Conduct regular property visits and organise repair estimates for landlords.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out inventories.
• Negotiate lease renewals, prepare paperwork and approve references.
• Authorise contractor invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
