Property Manager – PRS

About the role

Our client, a modern partner‑led property consultancy in central London, is looking for a proactive Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of privately rented residential assets across the capital. You will be responsible for the full tenancy lifecycle, ensuring compliance, tenant satisfaction and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs and refurbishments, working closely with contractors and service providers.
• Manage the full tenancy lifecycle for AST properties, from move‑in to move‑out, including inspections and check‑out reporting.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tenant queries, dispute resolution and high‑level customer service.
• Monitor rent payments, pursue arrears and liaise with tenants and guarantors to resolve payment issues.
• Ensure all properties comply with legislation such as gas safety, EICRs, EPCs and licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and legal purposes using property‑management software.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential property management.
• Strong understanding of UK housing legislation and landlord‑tenant law.
• ARLA Propertymark Level 3 or AssocRICS qualification.
• Proven ability to manage rental income and arrears processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with tenants, contractors and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with property‑management software such as PropMan or Dwellant.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
